Can I add fruit to my salad?

Yes. While in the weight loss phase, if you are eating a salad at lunch, you can add your weighed and measured fruit to your salad. Once you get down to goal weight, depending on your metabolism, your maintenance plan may include a serving of fruit at dinner. If you’d like to put that fruit in your dinner salad (like strawberries in a spinach salad), by all means do so.
