Bacon is a bit of a grey area. It’s not recommended. That said, if you feel called to eat bacon, it would be preferable to not have it for your entire breakfast protein. 3 oz. of scrambled eggs and 1 oz. of bacon would be a much better idea. (If you’re male, you could make it 5 oz. of scrambled eggs and 1 oz. of bacon…you get the idea.)
If you’re out to breakfast, perhaps at a breakfast buffet, and you want to split your protein between eggs and bacon, that’s fine. Just eyeball the whole portion so it approximates your total protein serving.
If you’re still in the weight loss phase, you may want to avoid bacon altogether—it could slow your weight loss.
