Can I eat gelatin?

Gelatin is a ground, powdered form of peptides and proteins produced by partial hydrolysis of collagen extracted from the skin, bone, and connective tissues of animals. It is also a powder that has gone through a refining process. For Bright Line Eaters, gelatin is in a grey area. We recommend avoiding it for the first couple of months while your brain heals, and then reintroducing it in tiny amounts to see if it triggers you, proceeding with caution.

1 serving of gelatin equals a 1/4 protein serving.
