Can I eat sun-dried tomatoes?

Sun-dried tomatoes can count as a vegetable, but they are dense and out of proportion (calorically speaking) with other vegetables, so it’s best to eat them sparingly and rarely. At home, limit a serving to .5 oz, and don’t eat them on a regular basis, if at all. In restaurants, if they come included in the food (on a salad, for example), it’s fine to eat them.
