Can I have bacon as a fat serving?

As you may be aware from the FAQ on bacon, it’s really in a grey area and not recommended. Furthermore, bacon will often have sugar in it. We suggest rather than using it as a fat, you instead have Canadian bacon (which is more like ham) as part of your protein serving, as long as there is no sugar in the ingredients.

That said, if using bacon (not Canadian) as a fat serving is something you are still strongly considering, compare the fat amounts in your usual fat serving and base your usage on that. Since cooking times/consistencies can really vary, it’s very difficult to determine a serving size.
