Can I have vegan or nondairy cheese?

Whole Food Plant Based cheeses vary widely in their nutritional composition since some are made primarily from oil while others are produced primarly with nuts. Be sure to check labels, and if there is only one gram of protein per serving, we would not recommend you use that product very often as a protein source. In general, 1 oz. of these cheeses can be counted as a fat serving and 2 oz. can be counted as a protein serving.
