Can spinach count as a protein?

February 23, 2021 BLE Support

Yes. 6 oz. of spinach can count as a protein serving because its protein content is higher than most other vegetables. However, be aware that the protein content is lower than other typical protein choices. We do not recommend using it as your sole protein serving.
