Everyone is different. Some people are fast eaters and some are slow. Both are okay. If your dinner is taking longer than 45 minutes to eat and the length of the meal is bothering you, you might consider cutting back the size of your dinner salad from 8 oz. to 4 or 5 oz. In Bright Line Eating, we don’t worry too much about the length of the meal because the food is weighed and measured, so we’re not going to eat more if we eat fast. We’re only eating three meals a day—if those meals take a long time to eat, we still have a lot of time to live life in between.
