The average female loses 17 pounds during an 8-week Boot Camp. On the high end, some women lose between 30 and 35 pounds, and on the low end, of course, some lose zero pounds, either because they don’t commit to following the program or they don’t have weight to lose.
Men tend to lose weight faster than women and their numbers are nearly 10 pounds higher than those quoted above.
Weight loss is most rapid during the first week and it tends to settle down into a comfortable pace after that.
Generally speaking, the more weight someone has to lose, the faster they will lose it—especially at first.
