I cannot have soy in any form. In addition, I do not eat animal protein. So, what kind of protein options are available?

  • 8 oz. of any kind of non-soy non-dairy milk (unsweetened of course), such as almond, rice, hemp, flax, etc.
  • 6 oz. beans
  • 4 oz. of soy-free veggie burgers (Sunshine burgers come to mind, but there are others, and you can make your own.) (6 oz. for men)
  • 2 oz. of seeds, ground or whole
  • 2 oz. nuts
  • 2 oz. of dry-roasted chickpeas or other dry roasted beans (3 oz. for men)
  • 4 oz. hummus (6 oz. for men)
