What constitutes a good buddy?

Initially, a buddy is someone with whom you share your food commitments and discuss your challenges and your progress in your Bright Line Eating journey. We think a good buddy does a lot of listening and holding the space for the other person’s commitments. But there’s always room to ask, “Would you like to hear my thoughts on that?” Another good phrase is, “A red flag came up for me when you said…” and then explain your perspective. Maybe throw it back with a question: “Does this make sense? What are your thoughts?” And you can say, “That may work for you. I’d be curious to see. For me, I feel safest when…” In addition, you can always add, “This is what I found worked for me…”
