What if I can’t start following the BLE food plan in the first week?

Unfortunately, we need all research participants to progress together in the BLE program so we can compare progress by week. If you can’t begin the program during the first week, please write to us and we will have you taken out of this research program.

You’ll have the option to join a follow-up research program after the Boot Camp, and yet another opportunity when you hit your goal weight. We hope you will join one or both of those. Also, at the end of your Boot Camp, you will be given the opportunity to fill out an exit survey. This survey is very important for the program and the research goals.

Track your data as you go through the Boot Camp, because you’ll need it later and it will be motivating for you. Keep track of these things:

  • Starting date
  • Starting weight
  • Starting measurements (bust/chest, waist, hips, neck)
  • Medications and dosages you take
  • Weekly weights (if you weigh at least weekly)
  • Front, side, and back photos
